Consultation and Training Support to the Basra Water Supply Improvement Project (BWSIP)
Project Highlights: 360 cubic meters/day water treatment plant associated with 33/133kVA substation.
Main Tasks: Assessment of national & local human talents, strategy for capacity building, delivery of structuring technical support and training followed by post assessment.

The project is a framework agreement, composed of several task orders over a period of two years, where our team assessed socioeconomic factors with a focus on existing public structures and national human capital capacity to hold the responsibility of safeguarding the plant, manage the supply and demand, and oversee the daily operations of the main station and substations.
The tasks included support in satellite image uses for GIS, NRW, household and commercial pricing models, cost engineering, cost analysis as well as management structure, competencies and skills.
